EARLY CORN: Frosty Sweet Corn is a NEW, earlier, glossy-white corn with Silver Queen-like quality. The traditional greenhouse cucumber, this Telegraph Improved cucumber variety can also be grown outdoors. Produces straight, dark green, slender cucumbers, 15 - 18 inches long, with very few seeds and excellent flavor. Great for garden salads...!
SOWING ... If starting plants indoors, plant cucumber seed on edge, just below surface. Keep soil moist and warm, a minimum of 68 degrees F. Transplant after 4 to 5 weeks either in greenhouse or outdoors in late spring after the ground has warmed. Can also plant cucumber seeds directly outdoors after the ground has warmed along fence or trellis. Space cucumber seeds 3 inches apart and cover with 1/2 inch of soil, well pressed down.
