STRAIGHT NECK SQUASH: Amberpic squash is an ideally shaped squash, early prolific straightneck type with all the advantages of a F1 Hybrid: earliness, uniformity, and heavy production. The fruit is butter yellow, smooth-skinned at best eating stage, and will continue to produce over a long period on a compact plant.

SOWING ... Plant Amberpic straightneck squash seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past and ground is warm. Or you may start squash seed indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier. Make a group of 4 to 5 seeds placed a ring about 2 inches across; cover squash seed with 1/2 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.
