Individually Yankee handcrafted, every North Country Garden Bell is shaped from Cor-Ten®, a high grade steel widely used on bridges, guard rails and buildings because it requires no maintenance. Therefore, the bells are designed to hang outdoors year-round in the face of wind and weather. Cor-Ten® will never flake, peel or rust and will never twist, tangle or break. The rich rust color that appears over time only serves to create clearer, more resonant tones. This patina is what preserves and improves the bell's tones over the years. And because the Maine North Country Garden Bells are specifically hand crafted to be reminiscent of buoys up and down the coast, the result has single, double and triple-toned bells that are sure to become treasured family heirlooms.

Set in and amongst a garden, these bells delight the ear while its companions delight the eye! These new bells are handcrafted with the same attention to detail and tuned to the same distinctive tones that mark the Classic North Country Coastal Wind Bells^TM (Available on our YankeeHarvest.com Web Site). The triangular windcatcher found on each North Country Garden Bell nicely compliments the pyramidal shape, while adding a sophisticated look to any setting. The finish on the windcatcher is a special coating that emulates the patina which eventually covers the wind bell itself.
